Data Protection Policy
Because we value our supporters, we work hard to ensure personal data is secure and used only for the purposes that it was given for. Our data policy is intended to ensure that you understand what data we may have, why we have it, and what we use it for. There are two reasons for Prayer Storm to have and use your data. Firstly, for updating you on our events. Secondly, if you have made a donation and/or have Gift Aid, we are legally required to store your data and may contact you regarding your donation. You may choose to unsubscribe from mail or email communications at any time without affecting your donations.
We restrict access to your data to our employees and administrative volunteers who have a specific need to use your data to perform their work. Data for updating you on events is hosted by ‘Sendinblue’, whose security policy can be viewed here, and donor based data is held on the program ‘Donations Co-ordinator 7’ on a secure computer. Where your data is stored internally, we maintain physical and electronic security and procedures to ensure that your data is not freely available. We do not share your data with any other organisations for any reason.
Putting you in control.
We will keep your personal information only for as long as we consider it necessary to carry out each activity. However, you have the right to unsubscribe to event information, which you can do by pressing the unsubscribe button at the bottom of emails. Additionally, you can request details of the information we hold about you. To unsubscribe or receive a copy of the personal information we hold please email our Data Protection Officer at email@example.com. For more information about your rights under the Data Protection Act you can visit the website of the Information Commissioner’s Office.
